You will learn Barion Cuts in Week Two

The Barion cut was developed in 1970 by Basil Watermeyer, a diamond cutter in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa.
The predominant features of this faceting technique are half-moon facets at the girdle linked to a brilliant cut pavilion
with a non-round outline. The break facets on the pavilion will reach nearly to the center point adds fire and
scintillation to the stone. This cut will also add more color in light to medium colored gemstones. 


After the completing the 2 week class, you will have the skill to cut from any published faceting diagram
