Gemstone Cutting Service
|
Faceted gems get small, flat, geometric faces called facets, while cabochons have curved surfaces. The transparency of the gemstone determines if the
gemstone rough will be faceted or a cabochon. Facet grade gemstones are transparent to semitransparent and cabochon grade gemstones are translucent to opaque.
I provide a gemstone cutting service for people that have gemstone rough material or badly cut gemstones that need to be re-cut into a modern sparkling new design. This re-cut can increase color, brilliance and value. To evaluate your gemstone rough, people in the Carolinas can call and make an appointment. All others can call for shipping instructions. There is no charge for rough evaluation. Cutting prices start at $60/stone. Call Wes @ 704.788.6967 |
